GAMES AND SPORTS
(SESSION 2011-12)
- 21 Students of the vidyalaya participated in Adventure Camp at Directorate of Mountaineering & Allied Sports , Manali( under Himachal Pradesh Govt.) w.e.f. 10.05.2011 to 19.05.2011 with two Escorts - Mr. L.S. Jamalta, Yoga Teacher and Mr.Sushil Kumar, WET and acquired proficiency in Elementary Skills of Rock Climbing, Rappelling, River Crossing, Tracking, Camping, Jungle Craft, Survival, leadership and White Water Rafting.
(SESSION 2010-11)
- This year our vidyalaya won 13 gold, 12 silver and 30 bronze medals in various games.
- 13 students represented KVS Nationals in various games which were held at Bangalore.
- 03 students represented SGFI - 2 in cricket(under 19 years) and 1 in Taekwondo.
- Cricket Team of Chandigarh Region ( whose coach was Mr. A.K. Sharma, PET , KV 3BRD, AFS , Chandigarh )won Gold Medal and a cash prize of Rs.8000/-
(SESSION 2009-10)
- Our Vidyalaya is also bringing laurels in the field of Games and Sports. During last two years, our vidyalaya has won 25 Gold medals, 35 Silver medals and 27 Bronze medals in various Games like Cricket, Boxing, Kho-kho, Taekwondo, Swimming, Judo, Athletics, Table-Tennis etc. 28 Students represented KVS Nationals last two years in Various games.
- Mankiran Kaur(XI-B) won a Gold and Silver medal in Swimming at KVS Nationals
- Master Tushar(VI-B) won two Gold Medals at KVS National Sports Meet and won a cash prize of Rs. 1250/-and Rs. 500/-
- Lovjeet(X-C) and Shubham Gaur(IX-A) won Gold medal in Cricket(under-16) AT kVSNational Sports Meet held at Suranasi. They were also given cash prizeof Rs. 500/- each.
